Principal of King's Leadership Academy Bolton
After growing up in London, I moved to Merseyside in 2009 to start my Teach First training programme. Since then I have held a number of senior positions in schools, including Head of Maths and Assistant Principal. During this time, I worked across the Great Schools Trust at King’s Hawthornes and King’s Liverpool before becoming the Founding Principal of King’s Bolton.
I am currently the Principal of King’s Leadership Academy Bolton, a role I have held since the school was formed in 2019. Both my parents left school at 16 to support their families, and so from a young age the value of a good education has been instilled in me. I believe schools have a central role to play in creating social mobility and it is a great honour to work every day to help create the next generation of leaders.
