Simon Mansfield

I joined the King’s Adventure team in October 2025 to support the wider team in delivering the King’s Leadership pledges through a variety of programmes, including the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, the Combined Cadet Force, Character Residentials, and the Leadership Curriculum.

I have a broad and in-depth background in Adventurous Activities and the wider outdoor education industry, built over the past 22 years. During this time, I have gained experience in a range of roles, including activities instructor, facilitator, youth worker, and adventure centre manager. I draw upon this experience to support the Great Schools Trust’s objectives.

I fundamentally believe in the power of adventure and the unique opportunities it offers for personal development. The combination of the King’s Leadership model and the King’s Adventure programmes provides a strong foundation for developing our young people. I am proud to be part of this team and look forward to seeing how it continues to grow and evolve in the years ahead.
