Internships

A teaching internship allows you to spend three weeks in a school and experience what teaching is really like. You'll work alongside other teachers in the classroom, gain new skills and get paid £300 per week. Internships take place during June or July.

Gain real experience of teaching and develop your skills

There are lots of benefits to an internship. You will:

  • gain classroom experience
  • learn from shadowing experienced teachers
  • receive one-to-one guidance from experts in their field
  • get support during the next stage of your teacher training application
  • have a guaranteed interview

Who can apply?

Student teaching internships are available to anyone currently studying for a degree related to chemistry, computing, maths, physics or Spanish.

We'd love to hear from you if you're an undergraduate studying science, technology, engineering, maths or Spanish and are interested in teaching computing, maths, physics or Spanish in one of our academies in Bolton, Bootle, Liverpool or Warrington.
