I joined the Great Schools Trust in 2025 as the Director of King’s Adventure after serving nearly nine years as an Education and Training Services Officer in the British Army.
In the Army, I delivered command, leadership, and management training to soldiers and officers throughout their careers. In my most recent post at the Army Foundation College Harrogate, I worked on curriculum design and quality assurance for the training of 16–17-year-old recruits. There, I saw first-hand how education can transform young people by building their confidence and character.
As Director of King’s Adventure, my aim is to provide every child within the Great Schools Trust with opportunities to develop both character and leadership. This includes programmes such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, the Combined Cadet Force, character residentials, and dedicated leadership lessons.
King’s Adventure is about making learning engaging, purposeful, and memorable. Our activities help pupils gain new skills, grow in confidence, and develop as both individuals and team players. Whether they are exploring the outdoors, learning first aid, or taking part in community projects, each experience helps them become well-rounded, resilient, and confident young people.
