Nathan Stevens

I joined The Great Schools Trust as Facilities Officer, bringing a broad background in security, operations, and risk management. I previously served for ten years in the Army, including an operational tour, which developed a strong foundation in discipline, teamwork, and accountability.

After leaving the military, I worked in close protection, security, and surveillance roles, and later spent time supporting children as a therapeutic care staff member in residential care. These roles strengthened my focus on safety, safeguarding, and creating well-managed environments.

Most recently, I worked at Coral Island in Blackpool, holding several senior operational roles including Security Manager, and Systems and Risk Manager, with a strong emphasis on health and safety and compliance.

In my role at the Trust, I am focused on ensuring our schools are safe, well-maintained, and fully compliant spaces that support learning and wellbeing.
